Union Express Mail

Union Express Mail is OPEN!

Dear Parents:

Would you like to send your student a birthday card, words of encouragement before a big test, or simply a 'thinking of you' note? Would you like to send a thank you note or special occasion card to a staff member at Union?

Then you need Union Express!

Union Express is an in-school delivery service operated by the 2nd grade students. We encourage parents, friends, and relatives to use it often during the school year. The students love to receive mail! Simply follow these easy steps:

  1. Place your correspondence in an envelope, and refer to the list below to address your mail. Always use Zionsville, IN 46077 as the city, state, and zip. For example, a student in Mrs. Munley's 2nd grade class would have the address:

    Star Student
    ’s Name

    108 Cardinal Road
    Zionsville, IN 46077

  2. Be sure to attach the Union Express postage stamp to your envelope . These are free, and mail will still be delivered without them. You may get stamps by printing them (look below attachment), from the main office, or have your child bring some home with them.

  3. Drop your properly addressed and stamped envelope into our blue Union Express mailbox, located by the school office inside the main entrance.

  4. Not able to get to the school to drop off a note? No problem! Place your Union Express envelope inside another envelope for the U.S. Postal Service addressed to:

    Union Elementary

    c/o Union Express
    11750 East 300 South
    Zionsville, IN 46077

Mail this envelope via regular United States mail. (Always use the Union Elementary address when mailing via the U.S. Postal Service.) We'll take it out of your envelope and put it in our mailbox for delivery! This is also a great way to send your mail if you do not have our special Union Express stamps. We'll stamp it for you if one is not attached! Encourage your out-of-town friends and relatives to write to your student, too!

Standard Union Express mail collection and delivery will be each Wednesday from 11:15- 12:30, beginning October 8.
